Qld: Multi movement horse permits over Xmas

Queensland Racing Limited has eased more restrictions after the horse flu outbreak
.. allowing the movement of several horses at a time.

The group's operations manager MALCOLM TUTTLE says multi movement permits are now available
.. to allow racing connections to move horses more efficiently on a permit-basis for the
next two months.

But interested parties must apply for their multi movement permits by 10 am (AEST)
tomorrow .. December 19.

Earlier this month .. restrictions were eased on horse movements in south-east Queensland's
red zone .. the most important development since the outbreak of equine influenza.
